Personnel and TUPE

Having practised employment law as a barrister and previously undertaken sole responsibility for employment law issues at a large contracting firm, I am experienced and knowledgeable in all relevant areas.  I am available to advise, to draft documents and tribunal claims/responses and to provide representation in the tribunals.

My areas of expertise include:

  • TUPE;
  • compromise agreements
  • restrictive covenants
  • grievance, disciplinary and suspension
  • deductions from wages
  • redundancy
  • dismissal
  • contractual issues

I am able to assist with restructuring and have particular experience of the application of the TUPE Regulations.  Whilst greater certainty as to the application of these Regulations in many situations was achieved by the enactment of the 2006 service provision changes, current proposals are to remove the service provision clauses from Autumn 2013, again increasing uncertainty in this complex area.
