In House Legal Support

I am able to provide in house legal support either on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Direct access barrister

As a direct access barrister, I am fully qualified to provide legal advice and drafting, and have significant experience of supporting a variety of companies in both legal and commercial matters. For several years I acted as sole in house legal support to a large contracting firm. I therefore have a sound understanding of the nature of the work, the necessity to manage risk and the requirement of achieving a balance between differing commercial pressures.

In house legal support

Situations often arise where in house legal support is required. This may be due to sickness, absence or maternity leave, or periods of high demand; or simply to ensure that the in house team can be maintained at its leanest with confidence that the company has an affordable method of supplementing that workforce as required from time to time.

Additionally I can be instructed to undertake specific projects, both legal/commercial and operational. I am able to bring commercial and operational experience, in addition to legal expertise, to any projects which require both legal and commercial input. Change management, contract mobilisation, introduction of new systems and personnel training are some of the areas in which I can assist, and I am able to effectively own and manage projects through to completion. For more information please see my website pages relating to Commercial services.

I am able to respond quickly and flexibly to requirements for in house legal support, and assistance can be provided both within your offices and remotely.

Affordable support

As a sole practitioner direct access barrister, with minimal overheads and the view that legal support should be an affordable commodity to business, I can offer highly competitive rates. Further discounts are available if in house legal support is required on a regular, or long term, basis.
